Third, the country's coal resources prediction results

The results of the national coal resource forecast were formed on the basis of summarizing the coal resource forecasts of the provinces (regions) and making appropriate adjustments. In the five coal-producing areas, 85 coal-bearing areas, and 542 coal fields/coal producing areas, a total of 2,554 prediction areas were delineated, with a total predicted area of ​​39.26 x 10+km2 and a shallow depth of 1000m with a shallow predicted resource of 18,440.48 x The total predicted resources of 10 ⁸ t and the depth of 2000 m in shallow are 45521.04 x 10 ⁸ t.

The basic situation of the national forecast resource distribution is:

(1) The geographical distribution of predicted resources ranks first in the North China Coal-producing Area, followed by the Northwest, South China, Northeast, and Yunnan Coal-bearing Areas (Table 2-8-11).
