Large ground network ground resistance tester test operation steps
1) First, check whether the current line, voltage line and grounding wire used in the test are disconnected (measured with a multimeter), whether the rust on the ground pile is clean and whether the buried depth is appropriate (>0.5 meters), and check and test If the connection between the wire and the ground stakes is conductive, if it is not conductive, reconnect it after processing.
2) The length ratio of the current test line to the voltage test line is 1:0.618. The length of the current test line should be 3 to 5 times the diagonal of the ground network.
3) The current test line and the voltage test line are connected to the instrument at a specified length and released in parallel. The other end is connected to two ground piles.
4) Check the placed test line once, and connect one end of the multimeter to the current line or voltage line. If the other end of the grounding network cable shows no resistance, it is an open circuit. Confirm that the test is completed and then perform the test.
5) After checking the connection is correct, connect the instrument to AC220V/50HZ power supply and power on the instrument.
6) Press the measurement key to start the measurement (during the test, the LCD shows “Testing, please wait...â€).
7) After the instrument displays the test, record the test data (this instrument can repeat measurement many times).
8) After turning off the instrument power, remove the connection and the test process ends.
Instrument self-diagnosis instructions during the test
1) If the instrument shows "Large circuit resistance", it means that the "current wire" connection and the "current" pole have poor contact or the ground pile is too small. The ground pile needs to be increased to reduce the loop resistance. Ground pile depth of not less than 0.5m.
2) "The voltage pole wiring is wrong" means that the voltage line is bad or not connected.
3) The instrument displays "over range", which means that the resistance of the measured network is greater than 40Ω.
4) The instrument indicates that the “grounding current pole wiring error†is “current wire†or “ground wire†is not connected.
5) If the instrument shows a very low value (<0.01 Ω), the voltage line may not be connected.
