Research group led by Zhang Jian, a researcher at Fujian Institute of Materials Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has made a series of progresses in the research of zeolite molecular sieve materials. The series of organometallic zeolite molecular sieve materials designed and synthesized by the research group not only has a higher specific surface area and excellent pore structure control performance, but also shows potential application prospects in the fields of hydrogen storage, carbon dioxide capture, and catalysis. The group also succeeded in synthesizing an organic framework compound with molecular sieve MTN topology, which provided new ideas for the development of fluorescent molecular sieve materials. In addition, they have also made series of progresses in the gas adsorption and catalytic performance of the molecular sieve materials. The developed porous material has better CO2 adsorption capacity than other reported chiral porous materials.
