(1) Nature of ore: The Qidashan iron deposit belongs to the Anshan-type sedimentary metamorphic iron deposit, and the surface part is hematite. The deep part of the ore body gradually transforms into magnetite. The surrounding rock of the ore body is composed of phyllite, schist and mixed rock formed by chemical action.
The mineral composition in the ore is relatively simple. The useful minerals are iron minerals, mainly hematite, imaginary hematite, magnetite, and a small amount of specular iron ore, limonite, goethite and trace pyrite. . The gangue minerals are mainly quartz , followed by ordinary hornblende, tremolite , actinolite , chlorite, carbonate (iron dolomite, calcite ) minerals. The iron ore in the whole mining area is divided into three types: quartz type, tremolite type and chlorite type, of which quartz type is the main type.
The chemical composition of the ore is mainly iron and silicon, and the content of harmful elements such as sulfur and phosphorus are within the allowable range. The multi-element analysis of ore is shown in the following table:
The grain size of the ore is a type of uneven fine particle impregnation. The maximum particle size of the iron mineral is above 1 mm, the minimum particle size is below 0.005 mm, and the average particle size is about 0.05 mm. The average grain size of quartz is about 0.085 mm, which is thicker than iron minerals. The size of iron minerals in quartz inclusions ranges from 0.003 to 0.035 mm, of which less than 0.015 mm accounts for 5 to 10% of iron minerals. The plant has a design scale of 8 million t/a. According to the construction time, the ore dressing plant is divided into the first phase project and the second phase project.
