Ulstein receives an order for communication and information systems
Ulstein Power & Control AS recently received a record contract from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to deliver communications and information systems to Mitsubishi's shipyard in Nagasaki, Japan. It is reported that Ulstein will deliver 2+2 sets of ULSTEIN COM® system for the W-class Ramform ship. The ship owner is Petroleum Geo Services (PGS).
The system belongs to the integrated communication and information system, including telephone, redundant broadcasting system, IPTV, CCTV, etc., and will be responsible for debugging and installation, sea trial. Gunnar H. Hide, chief operating officer of Ulstein Power & Control, said, "This contract is a milestone for the ULSTEIN COM® system and is the best proof of the quality and performance of our products."
