In order to break the monopoly of foreign technology, Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd., based on the development strategy and market demand of Sinopec, cooperated with the China Academy of Textile Science and the Research Institute of Sinopec Nanhua Group to develop high-performance polyethylene fiber dry-spinning technology. Based on the cooperation of production, teaching and research, the company completed the first industrialized production line of 300 tons of dry-spun high-performance polyethylene fiber in China at the end of 2008, which achieved a breakthrough in the localization of dry spinning technology and filled the domestic technological gap.
